Programmer's Lunch

Rainbow Sauteed Vegetables...

For the developer that wants to be at his best and write a lot of lines of code a day... here is the perfect midday lunch...

Cook some Brown Rice that has been pre soaked in water overnight by bringing to a boil for 4 minutes and let sit for 1 hour... next... take...

One 2oz Green Zuchinni
One 4oz Yellow Squash
One 2oz Orange Carrot

Slice them into 3/8 inch cuts... and put into a water steamer...

Steam cook these until tender and avoid creating over cooked mush...

Steam 10-15 minutes

While steaming veggies... place the following into a large soup bowl...

3 Small sliced Red Strawberries...
2 oz of Ripe Avocado Slices
1 oz Finely Grated Purple Cabbage...

Mix in the steam veggies when done and saute them with a couple of spoons of Cashews or Pistachios nuts... but not too many...

Remember... Don't gum up the neurons folks with a lot of fat or the code never gets written...

Strain the Rice and add to a side dish... mix into it a little Avocado or Yyogurt and a squeeze or two of fresh sliced oranges...

Factored Yum... and it has all the colors of the rainbow... good lite / light food...
